Enjoy some hot wine and gingerbread at Christmas Markets!

The main thing that turns Prague into a winter wonderland is, of course, the Christmas markets! You can find them all over the city in different places, but the biggest ones are on Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square, just a few minutes’ walk from each other. Various shows, musical performances and many handmade gifts and souvenirs are waiting for you!

Visit Christmas Light Park

A fairytale park created with lights is newly opened at Žluté lázně in the Podoli district of Prague. A walk between 311 different sculptures created using 400 thousand light bulbs will be interesting for people of all ages! While children can also look forward to the educational trail in the park, adults may enjoy the interactive installation accompanied by the Czech musical masterpiece Ma Vlast by Bedřich Smetana! BTW, it’s just few steps from The Pop Up!

Czechs are big fans of winter sports, see for yourself when you see lots of public ice rinks around the city! The largest one is located on Letná in Prague 7. Right next to the main ice area measuring 40 x 20 m, there will be a smaller ice rink for the little ones. As usual, visitors will have the opportunity to relax in a heated tent or have refreshments on site.
